The AT72EDII was a bit better. 95. What would you recommend for a mount? Id like a goto EQ mount that is not heavy. It they are a bit loose, a little more felt would do just fine. The AT72EDII feels more similar to the ST80 in size (it's more compact with dew shield retracted but the ST80 is only about 3lbs with the stock focuser) while the AT80ED. I presently own an Astro-Tech AT72EDII refractor - similar telescopes can be found in the $500 range.
